Salamanca Island Road Park Hiking Tour
At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ciénaga to head towards the Salamanca Island Park Road, a place that surprises all its visitors. The trip will take about an hour and a half.
Once we arrive at our destination, we'll get out of the vehicle and start exploring this beautiful nature reserve located on the Colombian Caribbean coast. Don't forget to bring your camera!
Throughout the day, we'll hike for approximately four hours to check out this fascinating ecosystem. It wasn't declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2000 for nothing!
Along the way, we'll come across mangrove forests, marshes, and exceptional beaches while we try to spot the local fauna. Did you know that this area has a place called the 'international bird airport?' With a name like that, you can imagine the great variety of species we'll see.
Anyone hungry? At noon, we'll stop at a local restaurant for a snack and some rest before continuing on our way.
Finally, we'll get back on the minibus and return to your hotel in Ciénaga, where we'll arrive around 2 pm.
