If you want to discover Ancient Greek culture, with this ticket to the Acropolis Museum, you'll admire numerous ancient artefacts from Ancient Greece. Don't miss this exhibition in Athens!
Why Visit the Acropolis Museum?
Located at the foot of the hill where we find the Parthenon, the Acropolis Museum vanguard building is essential to not only learn about Athens' history but also Ancient Greece.
With your ticket to the Acropolis Museum in Athens, you can visit the different areas in the permanent exhibition. On the ground floor, you'll find the Gallery of the Acropolis Slopes, where they display archaeological treasures that were found in the slopes of the hill. On the first floor, you'll visit the Archaic Acropolis Gallery. Here, you'll find majestic statues that adorned the first huge temples in the Acropolis.
You can't miss the multimedia space on the second floor or the collection on the top floor. On the third floor, you can explore the Parthenon Gallery, the most important in the museum. It's an enormous space where you can admire the friezes of the procession of the Panathenaeas.
Additionally, you can't leave the museum without seeing the Karyatid collection and other sculptures across the various galleries. Many of these pieces come from the Acropolis the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheiόn.
The museum also has several glass viewpoints from where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Parthenon and the remains of temples, monuments and ruins that are still conserved in the Acropolis in Athens.
