Continuing our route, we'll visit Pennan, an enchanting fishing village with roots dating back to the 18th century. You may recognize this village as the iconic setting for the film Local Hero, starring Burt Lancaster. Nearby, we'll discover the scenic New Aberdour beach, where intriguing caves once served as smuggling hideouts. Unveiling the hidden side of Aberdeenshire's coastline, we'll unravel stories of clandestine activities.
Next, we'll make a stop in Fraserburgh, a town with a fascinating history. Did you know it boasts one of Scotland's earliest lighthouses and was once a castle?
